6-APB

6-APB can be synthesized in different ways. One of the possible ways is to get unsaturated derivative from 6-APDB. Another possible way is replacement of 3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl ring with benzofuran ring.

Systematic chemical name for 6-APB or Benzo Fury is 6-(2-aminopropyl)benzofuran. Molecular formula of this chemical compound is C11H13NO. 6-APB molar mass is 175.23 g/mol.

6-APB has been tested in terms of its pharmaceutical effect and chemical properties. Chemically 6-APB is very similar to amphetamine class research chemicals. This chemical compound acts as serotonin and dopamine reuptake inhibitor and is a potent agonist for 5-HT2C receptor. It is supposed to be potent agonist for 5-HT2A receptor and 5-HT2B receptor receptors as well.
Despite all existing data about its pharmaceutical effects today 6-APB is used only for laboratory experiments and chemical research.
